Rodney
E. Carter, husband of Roda Ward Carter,
serves as Vice President of the company. In 1990 he earned
a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
from Vanderbilt University. While attending Vanderbilt, he
became President of the National Society of Black Engineers
and was selected National Member of the Year. He was also
elected president of his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha.
He
has 12 years of experience in sales, sales management and
marketing for a multi-billion dollar telecommunication company
and possesses a wealth of business and financial management
skills.
His interpersonal
skills, honesty, aggressiveness and work ethic contributed
to his rapid rise to the top of the corporate ladder from
Sales Engineer to the position of Vice President of Sales
Operations. Rodney and Roda have many things in common one
being the need to reach back and help others pursue their
dreams.
Rodney
regularly mentors underprivileged students regardless of race
in an attempt to help them improve their opportunities. Rodney’s
vivacious personality, drive, business savvy and professional
experience, partners perfectly with Roda’s creativity,
expertise, and knowledge of the cosmetics industry.
